DOUBLE ANNOUNCEMENT – Road 2 Rockstock 2 Cycle Ride and New Charity Single Release
Wyatt announces Road 2 Rockstock 2 - the latest instalment of cycle endurance in support of mental health charity MIND.
This time around, Wyatt will be taking in a 2,000 mile cycle ride over a two-week period from Planet Rock HQ in London to Planet Rockstock music festival in South Wales, via John O'Groats and many rock music landmarks. More information about the schedule and route can be found further down this page. You can support Wyatt's efforts and the work undertaken by MIND by donating via Just Giving.
To coincide with Road 2 Rockstock 2, Wyatt has teamed up with a host of stars to release a charity single - a new version of John Farnham's classic track "You're The Voice". Wyatt describes more about the background to the project in the associated blog here. The single is a collaboration under the name The Planet Rock All Stars and features members of Def Leppard, Blackberry Smoke, Black Stone Cherry, The Cadillac Three, The Temperance Movement, Wayward Sons, The Darkness, Tyler Bryant, Ricky Warwick, Dan Reed, Doug Aldrich, Chad Kroeger, Mollie Marriott, Whitfield Crane, Todd Kearns ... and others.
“You’re The Voice” will be released digitally on Friday 6th December. It will be linked to the UK singles chart and the aim is to get a Top 40 hit. There will be a VERY limited edition CD single available with a couple of alternative versions of the song.
